English | 1. Please pray for all our students, families with children and teachers as they prepare for the new school year. Pray that the Christian students & teachers will be a good witness. 2. Our new English website will be online soon. Pray for a smooth transition and that it will attract people to Christ. 3. Please pray for several new initiatives for the Fall, incl. new cell formats/mergers and Sunday School. |
Cantonese | For adoption of new pastor Rev. Sunny Wong. For the new term of D&E. |
Mandarin | 1. Pray for the development of ministry for new immigrants. 2. Pray for the new Sunday school term. |
Children | 1. Pray for the Lord’s guidance as we begin a new school year in KLS ministry, that children will experience God personally and as a community. 2. Pray for the planning for P.D. Parenting workshop for Mandarin parents from October to December. May the Lord use this ministry to bring many new families to our church, and to bless relationships in Christian families among us as well. 3. Pray for KLS special events in the near future, including Passport to Purity Retreat, Thanksgiving Celebration, Harvest Carnival, and Christmas Celebration. |
Mission | Nicholas Chang: Please pray for the new partnership that we’re trying to establish with the Native Child and Family Services youth shelter and the youth we will be in contact with. FEBCanada: the production of children’s programs will be increased next year, in addition to audio broadcasts, video broadcasts will also be added. |
