Dear English Sunday School Teachers & Students
How are you doing? I know this is a very unusual time for all of us, and I want you to know that I’m praying for you. Thank you for all that you’re doing for our Lord at our church, especially in the Sunday School department. Thank you for praying for your students and seeking to help them navigate through these uncharted waters of the Covid-19 situation.
At our Pastoral Staff Meeting today the pastors discussed about what to do with Sunday School while our church building is closed. Since every class is different, it was decided that we’ll leave it to each individual teacher to decide whether you’ll continue with your class online or not during this shutdown period. But it is highly recommended that you try to continue online if possible. I have also posted in the sermon area a very good video from Rev. Fanco explaining how to host a Google hangout meeting that you can use for your online Sunday School classes. The video doesn’t mention how to show a document on the screen while you’re teaching, but if you don’t know, just give me a shout and I’ll be glad to walk you through it. And Pastor Michelle mentioned that since you’ll be doing your classes online, you might even be able to host it on another day of the week if that’s more convenient for you and your students
If you have any questions, feel free to call me.
Thanking God for you, and praying for you and your class!
Warmly in Christ,
